Who We Are
The CGC was founded by five high school (St. Xavier High School, Cincinnati, Ohio) friends who had participated in a 100 Golf Challenge event that had been hosted by the Make-A-Wish Foundation. When the Make-A-Wish Foundation Event decided to end their event, the friends decided to enlist the help of a couple dozen of their mutual friends to create a new charity of their own named CGC. Each year, the CGC sets out to play 100 holes of golf in one day! Ahead of the event, the members raise as many dollars as they can from friends, relatives, peers, and anyone willing to donate. The funds raised are then divided up between the Make-A-Wish Foundation as well as one other charity that is selected for that particular year. Together we have raised approximately $1.1 million for various children’s related charities in the Greater Cincinnati area.
